During the Wrath of the Immortals Dantrag was a part of a contingent of Shadow Elves that was tasked with inflitrating Glantri City. Their mission was a secret to him and his comrades. They were the bodyguards to several agents of The Second Shadow. This clandestine organization believed that The Principalities of Glantri played a crucial role in the continent spanning conflict and came to influence the outcome for the benefit of the Shadow Elves. The goal was never realized as their contingent ran afoul of the Arcanist and was destroyed by the powerful wizard. Dantrag and his companion Caelkoth were turned to stone during the conflict that saw everyone else destroyed. As statues Dantrag was transported to one of the Arcanist's menageries of stone. When the West Side Six, one of which was a Shadow Elf Shaman, removed the pertification that entrapped Dantrag he decided to join their ranks and pledge his Halberd to the defense of his countryman. Hiscubo Shronvrur declined his service and instead offered to Dantrag the chance to join his companions as an adventurer. Dantrag accepted the offer and began to travel with his newfound allies.
