Goodwife Tazra is an elderly matron of the Tazra family. She has lived in Glantri City her entire life and has resided in the West Side Quarter since she was married as a young woman. The Goodwife is known to all within the West Side and they greatly respect her for her kindness and generosity. She is a woman of strong moral and ethical convictions that isn't afraid to speak her mind or stand-up for those who cannot. There are many rumors about the old woman, although most of them are apocryphal, though they all revolve around stories of her hidden or unseen powers. How else could such a feeble and old woman face down troublemakers and criminals, causing them to walk away rather than risk her ire. The Goodwife laughs at these tall-tales of her abilities and instead attributes the respect she garners from those of a less than savory character to her stern demeanor.
