Gromnir is from the Kingdom of Wendar. He is a product of one of the many Orc raids on that kindgom by the lands of Denagoth. He was a small boy discarded on the streets Genalldhon and discovered by Lady Luveria del'Quion on one of her many diplomatic missions to the region in her search for The Amber Temple. She adopted him into House Moriamis and gave him a sense and direction of purpose. She never intended for Gromnir to become her guardian but when he reached his maturity and was given a choice of duties within the house he chose to be her protector. The events that led to her assault at the hands of a Rakshasa is the source of his deepest regret and sorrow. He was gravely injured during that expedition and Lady Luveria took steps to see to his health and safety. The choice to send a portion of the expedition back to see Gromnir healed left her without enough protection and subsequently that led to the demise of the expedition and her being impregnated by the Fiendish Outsider. He blames himself more than anyone and has sworn to never to fail in his duties again; a vow that might see him killed fulfilling.
